Kiwi’s thoughts on the Grand Finale

Let me excuse the non-updating over the holidays, its a very busy holiday so our blogs actually comes in second and third. Everybody already know who the winner is ^^

But; The best moment of the season was the Sandy Hook Tribute:

But what are my thoughts on the Grand Finale? The Performances was magnificent, all of them. Carly’s first performance with feeling good is one of the most memorable moments of the X Factor – also her Hallelujah performance. Fifth Harmony – they surprised me. They did everything I have wanted them to do for weeks. Tate was magical with Little Big Town, but actually the rest I saw of Tate was not that much fun, he is good. very good but he is not X good. I have never seen him have that much fun on stage as he did with his collab performance, that’s the Tate I want to see more off.
May I remind you that you find all the performances on X-Factor’s official YouTube

Carly’s second performance with LeAnn was beautiful, but in some parts very messy. Its like LeAnn sang it wrong or came in wrong. I don’t know what it was, but something was not right. Still it was beautiful
Fifth Harmony’s second performance with Demi – Lovable – just lovable and adorable. I was just a bit not very happy with the song choice, why couldn’t they have sung “Unbroken” or something else?

Fifth Harmony’s song of the series, their biggest mistake was to sing the same song they have sung last week, I actually think they could have won if it wasn’t for the song choices (ACH & GYHAB). They’ve actually sung Give your heart a break 2 times, Impossible 2 times and Anything could happen 2 times… Like woat? But anyway – This is my favourite performance by Fifth Harmony;

They’re going to be huge.

Second night? … hmm

Well I actually wanted to see a bit more from the red carped, like they could have hired to extra hosts. They could have invited former X-Factor contestants arriving at the red carpet, other judges from other X-Factor shows, other celebrities. And they could have moved the Grand Finale to a Stadium.

And I don’t get why we didn’t see more of the former contestants you know like a medley or something.

Anyway – one of my favourite performance from Carly is this amazing Holiday song:

But, overall the Grand Finale was fun and exciting. And for the record Britney is not stiff she is shy – there is a difference. I think that next year she will loosen up a little bit. But This is actually not the Britney we used to see. Remember the days where Britney did wrong move and she was judged, she doesn’t want to be judged wrong. The’s probably the reason why she has grown much more shy then she usually is. But it seems like it doesn’t matter what she does, she is still judged with mean comments everywhere. Not fair:

Best Britney moments on The X Factor ^_^;

On the contrary – Did America get it right? No, Tate is not the definition of The X Factor

Who should have won? Carly has been flawless from day one! But it doesn’t matter, we will see much more of both Carly and Fifth Harmony I am sure of it!

Till next time! Ciao!

Demi comes back with a muzzle?

Simon had an interview with E! where he talks about this season and his fellow judges. Britney is not a diva, and he wants Demi back with a muzzle. Listen to the interview here;

So if it is up to Simon, the girls will stay! We hope for the best ^_^ ❤

Expect The Unexpected, But Cooler To See The Spice Girls

That has been said for this season of The X Factor – and that is probably true, but it hasn’t been taken seriously for us until now.

Country Queen LeAnn Rimes will duet with Carly Rose Sonenclar, that if any is unexpected wouldn’t you say? Its not only unexpected, its also very much fun news, LeAnn is a legend, and I think we can be prepared to see something new from Carly.

“I think she is amazing and her voice is really, really special. I’m psyched.” – Carly Rose

Another surprise Fifth Harmony & Demi Lovato? Actually I thought it would have been cooler to see them having a medley with The Spice Girls or Girls Aloud. I love Demi, its not that, but what will they sing? They’ve done Skyscraper, they’ve done Give Your Heart A Break. Unbroken next? I was looking forward seeing something old school and freaky. But no! Still going to be great though, But I am worried that Demi WILL outshine them!

Spice Girls or Girls Aloud would have been more fun!

Tate Stevens actually gives me a surprise, he will do a duet with Little Big Town, it is a country group yes, but I think we actually can expect something different, maybe Tate finally will show us that he does have the X

Simon got questions about The X Factor’s future, he actually didn’t want to answer that because its not only up to him. He did add that he will miss L.A but answered that he wont sit there plotting about next year. It’s better to have a complete focus on the contestants. I am totally with him, but actually, I want an answer because one source say Britney has spoken out about she wants to return, another says she actually is “fired”. Give us a hint Simon. We for sure want to add, if Britney is not on the show next year, it will probably be the last season in the US.

Simon was happy to teas Demi about she not having any contestants left in the competition, her last contestant Cece Frey ended up in 6:th place. But he also was painfully glad to reveal that Demi will perform with Fifth Harmony adding

“after listening to your constant carping on about my contestants, the fact that I can now judge you, I can’t wait.”

So we are actually hoping that The X Factor will start airing Thursdays and Fridays instead, giving people a couple of days to breathe after The Voice. Hoping that ABC won’t change the airing days for the Voice as well.

Its going to be a fun and exciting Grand Finale, but we are very sad that Season 2 was “blown away” from us, please do not continue with your stupid double eliminations next year Simon it was painful, and a big reason why the ratings failed you!

Thank you all – pls give us some feedback, what do you think about the Grand Finale news?
